NatWest increases new business and additional borrowing rates by 0.30%

NatWest has made rate increases by up to 0.30% to its new business and additional borrowing product ranges, effective tomorrow (16 October).

As part of the rate rises, the 60% loan-to-value (LTV) five-year fixed rate purchase for new customers, with a product fee of £995, will go up from 3.79% to 4.09%.

Other increases within this range include:

Two-year fixed rate purchase: 60% LTV, increasing by 30bps from 4.07% to 4.37%, product fee £995
Five-year fixed rate purchase: 75% LTV, increasing by 30bps from 3.98% to 4.28%, product fee £0
Five-year fixed rate remortgage: 60% LTV, increasing by 30bps from 3.87% to 4.17%, product fee £995, cashback £250

Within the lender’s first-time buyer range, a two-year fixed rate purchase with a 90% LTV will go up from 5.10% to 5.40%. This comes with a product fee of £995 and cashback of £250.

A 75% LTV help to buy shared equity five-year fixed remortgage has increased from 4.19% to 4.49%. This comes with a product fee of £995 and cashback of £500.

Further changes include:

BTL two-year fixed rate remortgage: 60% LTV, increasing by 30bps from 5.05% to 5.35%, product fee £0, cashback £250
Green mortgages two-year fixed rate purchase: 60% LTV, increasing by 30bps from 4.02% to 4.32%, product fee £995
BTL green mortgages five-year fixed rate remortgage: 75% LTV, increasing by 30bps from 4.19% to 4.49%, product fee £995
